MEET THE PHOTOGRAPHER
At the beginning of my career, I thought my love for photography was found only within my camera. But over the years, I realized that was only half of it. I’ve jumped into lakes with someone I had just met, photographed intimate proposals where I was the only one there to witness the joyous tears of a soon-to-be bride, and cracked jokes with fathers of the groom at weddings. I’ve fallen in love with the people I meet and the memories I’m honored to capture for them.
Like any meaningful relationship, trust is essential. My ideal clients trust me wholeheartedly to capture their most cherished memories. I want them to feel comfortable being fully themselves, allowing me to photograph moments as they naturally unfold. With that trust, I’m able to bring my full creativity to their wedding day, crafting images that reflect both their story and my artistic vision. When that trust is there, everything falls into place naturally.
My faith inspires me in all aspects of my life, including photography. It guides me to see the beauty woven into both the world and the people around us. Whether it’s the intricate details in nature or the deeply meaningful moments shared between loved ones, I believe God’s creativity is present in it all.
I’ve been incredibly blessed to share a life with my husband, Jake—my best friend and the person I’m completely obsessed with. No one makes me laugh harder, and he’s helped me find myself and encouraged me to chase my life-long passions. Along with Jake, my two children have brought a new kind of inspiration into my life. From the moment I welcomed them into the world, I’ve felt an even deeper drive to pursue my creativity.
My photography style blends candid, unscripted moments with more editorial, thoughtfully composed shots. I take a light hand in guiding the day. My priority is keeping the atmosphere relaxed so the photos feel natural and true to the moment, rather than directed.
Stylistically, I lean into an atmospheric, film-inspired look with warm tones and understated elegance, and I incorporate editorial touches — sometimes flash, sometimes film grain — to add texture and depth to the final images.
